Training the young (Jedi needed/only)

"The Empire is responsible for the deaths because THEY, are the ones who shot your brothers from the air. If I had forseen that we would become this many for trying this mission than I would have reconsidered who we brought and may have enilisted the help of an army. My vision only saw that the order went to kashyyk and freed it, never telling me the price!"

"That is no exuse! By the Order of the Guild you are..."

The Grey Jedi was suddenly interupted when Gwazi muterd all his strength is awake and speak.
"No... He is not to blame... The Sith are... They are clouding are judgment... are connection to the force... None of us and forsee what is to come now that they are so powerful..." Gwazi was about to continue but he ran out of strength and fell unconcious again. He had broken another rib and pulled quite a few muscles doing that however.

Ali was trying to keep Gwazi alive, It was hard he was slipping away. Ali said," Sorry but Gwazi has to get some serious medical attention before he dies." He could feel the life of Gwazi slowly slipping away.

The Grey Jedi stood around each other and started discussing. When they were finished the leader spoke to Noj again. "The boy may make some sense but for now we should gather the survivours and treat them. Then once everyone is well we can handle this situation" The Grey Jedis pick up Gwazi and Zane and started to take them to the Wookie Village while a Group of Wookies arrived to escort the Jedis.

The biggest threats to the operation were the only hangar Blue Squadron missed and the Star Destroyer that just hovered into orbit. The only way to slow down reinforcments was to destroy the Gigantic bridge that connected the rest of the village to the Hangar. There was no way they could defeat the Star Destroyer. The battle was lost...until a lone Wookie Katt went after the great warship. One of the Destoyer's ion cannons fired at it, sending it spinning into the command bridge.

The air support flew around the star destroyer which was now launching escape pods as it's tip hit the bridge. The pods crashed through the wooden bridge, exploding as they hit the jagged rocks below. An ion cannon fired at the fighters, missing by a long shot and hitting the Ties in the Hangar. The ceiling colapsed but the facility wasn't destroyed.

Jacky tried to fire a finishing shot but his weapons were jammed, there was a perimeter around the facility. By now the Star Destroyer had broken through the bridge, and all Jacky could see was the engines , their lights beggining to dim. " I didn't want to do this but we're going to have to land."

Noj looked over at the Star Destroyer and pondered to himself "I geuss he could have taken it down by himself"

The group made their way to the village and the wounded were soon put to medical attention. Other wounded from the battle were here as well, jedi and wookie alike. A com message had blinked on Noj's comlink. It went strat to Holo Messages and showed him a general.

"This is General Ku, our fleet has entered system of Kashyyk"

"Good, land an army in the base we have taken and the planet will rise up with more support from our troops. Keep a fleet here at all times."

"Yes sir, we will begin as soon as possible. Will you be staying on Kashyyk for long?"

"No, I will be exiling myself for sometime soon and must get things in order before I go."

Jacky and his followers landed their ships and exited to a great mass of troopers. They were doomed. Jacky looked around for all of his options and noticed a...headless figure drenched in blood sneak around some of the rubble. It was quite desturbing. The surrounding turbolazer towers exploded , the troopers ran about in a frenzy. The figure jumped around a corner and a black TIE Advance launched into the now cloudy skies.

The troopers were even more disgruntled and were about to fire when a fleet of A-wings burst through the clouds, dodging a stroke of lightning. They shot at the troopers killing many and keeping them distracted long enough for Jacky to sneak back onto his ship. As he walked up the steps he noticed a holocron lying there. He picked it up and rushed into his ship. Not looking back.

Zane approached Noj at this point. "Master I am sorry to hear that... I Overheard... But I will still folloe you... but... theirs something that bothers me... My Son... He's fighting Duvnar this very moment I can sense it. Valor tried to kill Caredetru's kid and now the Tykupers are rushing to the scene, so is Reticha... I also sense... Tukoshi... He used a Mind Bomb and Valor might use a second... Should we check it out? And sir... Try not to let Gwazi hear of this, he'll freak and follow us if he knows"

"I cannot go with you, I have taught both Jacky and Xanatos the way of stopping a thought bomb. They will go with you on this mission, but I must make for Rhen Var to begin a new training of mine. I am sure that you will visit me while I stay in exile and will find me in the High Citadel." Noj put a hand on his friends shoulder, bowed to him and made for his fighter.

'You are doing the right thing, but you must make haste' said Hoths voice

'Yes, if you are to uncover the artifact' Kaan added as Noj entered his fighter.

Noj was gone then, and would not be seen for 5 more years.

(So with Noj being gone my character will become Julius.)

Julius saw his father go, and hated it.

"I never know him and when I do he goes off to some ice ball to meditate. Leaving me with his Cyborg's, his ships, and everything else he owned..." Julius set the ship to auto-pilot to land where the battle had taken place and walked about the cabin of his new ship.

He saw a cabenit and felt something, he was being pulled to it somehow. He could feel a pressance, a pulse, but it wasn't just in the cabenit... it was in him. He reached out for to it and it opened on its own revealing a light saber. Noj had left him a light saber... but how did he know that the saber was there? He picked up the saber and ignited it, the blade seemed more stunning when HE let it shine, it showed him an aqua blue saber. He looked back at the cabinet and saw a note.

'Julius,
I sensed it from the day I met you that you had it in you, you are able to become a Jedi. The force had been in you since you were young and it led you all the way to me. If you wish to become a grey jedi then Xanatos has the capabilities to teach you as I did for him. I always loved your mother and regret never finding her when I had the chance. And one last thing, I have seen into my future and have come across a grave truth, when I return from exile during the final battle with the Empire I will die within the Death Star as it self destructs, I am sorry I never truely got to know you my son. May the force be with you, always.

"No, no no no, NO!" Julius slammed the wall to the ship, Rioger entered looking tired.

"What is wrong Julius?"

"He is gone..."

"Noj, yes I know, he told me of this-"

"BUT NOT ME TILL NOW! I JUST MET HIM! I JUST GOT TO KNOW HIM!"

"What is with all the shouting?" stephanie walked in wet wearing nothing but a towel, both Julius and Rioger were stunned for a second "Stop staring" that shook them off.

"Noj is gone and not going to see us till he comes to die...."

"Oh... He was a good man... he took me in... I am sorry you had to loose your father."

"We have to save him"

"He always said that a mans destiny is a mans destiny, unable to be changed by others. Only by his own determination."

Julius returned to his seat and began to cry for the lose that was to come.

For the excellence of Zane in the battle he was given a fully fortified Cruiser called the Ragging Kinrath. It wasn't as good as Duvnars ship the Golden Eagle but still more than capable enough to handle the heavy battles yet to come. Zane decided that it wouldn't be right to drag Xanatos and Jacky along for the mission. He had to find his son alone. On his way he noticed Noj's son crying. He enterd Julius's ship as he cried. "Julius... I must be going... I must find my son... But I know something you may want to know... When Noj said goodbye to me he mentioned going to Rhen Var... You'll find him their..." Without waiting for a response he left and took his new ship. He launched into hyperspace. It would only be a few hours before he showed up at Caredetrus Ship.

Fectum wasn't about to let Zane slip away. He followed close behind not missing a beat. He felt terrible for leaving Blue Squadron on Kashyyk but he knew they'd get over it.
